Technology
Based on MAP and IP, the SMSC is supported on GSM and GPRS networks. For CDMA, the protocol ANSI IS-41 also supports a MAP layer similar to GSM. The SMSC is scalable and conforms to ETS TS 100 901 GSM 03.40, ETS 300 599 GSM 09.02 and 3GPP TS 23.040.
